Fredrick Morris Lookout, Jr. was an Osage singer, and after his death the University was given a collection of 57 reel to reel tapes of various Native American Singers, conversations with native speakers, and dances.

This artificial collection was brought together initially as the the old American Indian Law and History Collection from miscellaneous acquisitions that had accrued over twenty years of collecting. Each card measures approximately 3 11/16 inches by 8 1/4 inches and typically bears the roll number, English and/or Indian name, number of acres allotted and their exact location. Some cards are accompanied by plats. The cards DO NOT contain genealogical information.
The Raymond Lasley collection consists of Osage Nation organizational papers, primarily concerned with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and federal and state legislation impacting the Osage.
